Holland Park

Holland Park is notable for its large Victorian town houses & landscaped public space of the same name, which for many is the most romantic & peaceful park in central London. Surrounded by high-quality shopping areas such as the famous Portobello Road market & Notting Hill to the north & Kensington High Street to the south, Holland Park itself is a relative oasis of calm & is home to several embassies including that of Ukraine, Greece & Uzbekistan. The community is well served by several International schools including Ecole Elémentaire Jacques Prévert & La Scuola Italiana a Londra. Although largely Victorian there are several regency period properties including The Royal Crescent, designed by Robert Cantwell as well as the Jacobean Holland House, one of the earliest and greatest houses in London. Holland Park Opera & Open Air Theatre as well as other important cultural organizations makes great use of the great house in Holland Park.

Over the centuries Charles Dickens,Lord Byron, Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli & writer Sir Walter Scott have stayed in Holland Park.
